The Kaiserslautern American is published by AdvantiPro GmbH, Kaiserslautern, Germany, a private firm in no way connected with the Department of the Air Force or the Department of the Army, under exclusive contract with the 435th Air Base Wing. This commercial enterprise newspaper is an authorized publication for members of the military services overseas.

Contents of the KA are not necessarily the official view of, or endorsed by, the U.S. government, the Department of Defense, or the Department of the Air Force.
