Taxi service request

Anonymous said: Can we get either the bus to service the community on the weekends or a Taxi Service that can operate on post? We all get the security situation but we can clear folks and do security screening.

Response: Thank you very much for your suggestion. You’ll be happy to know the Exchange has a contract with the company Taxi 44 44 44, located at Steinmetzstrasse 2 in 65197, Wiesbaden. They can be reached at (0611) 444-444.
Currently approximately 60 taxi drivers have all of the requisite background checks and installation passes for access to all Wiesbaden locations, including Hainerberg.



Chapel Next

Response: Thanks for comment. However, please know that the Tony Bass Theater may not be a permanent location due to the possible ramifications of the Tony Bass gym reconstruction this summer, and the desire to locate Watch Care/Children’s Church closer than where they are now at Clay Chapel.


ID card wait

Response: Thank you for expressing your concerns. While it is true that appointments do have priority when it comes to our ID card office, they also service walk-in customers every day as well.
You are more than welcome to visit the ID card office on any day of the week that they have office hours, and you can be seen without an appointment. The appointment is just a guarantee that you will be seen on the day it is made. Most of the people that come to the ID Card Office as walk-ins get seen that same day.


Youth sports

Jimmy C. (for MWR, Youth Sports) said: Though we hate to see the fun come to an end, it is understood. I am sure I am not the only one who wants to thank everyone involved in making the season fun.
It allowed the children to expand their team-working abilities, foster leadership and build their confidence.
This couldn’t have been accomplished without the coaches and support staff. I am sure this is just an echo of other thanks you have received, but it had to be said again. Job well done! Thank you.

Amelia Earhart Playhouse

Jan W. (for Amelia Earhart Playhouse) said: Thank you to the Amelia Earhart Players for providing such a quality production in the Hollywood Horror Story haunted house! We went through the haunted house on opening night and everything about it was beyond expectation!

The actors provided the perfect amount of entertainment and thrilling fun that every haunted house should strive for.
We loved the Rocky Horror Picture opening and the different scenes throughout. The energy was exciting and we plan on going back! Thank you for providing such a fun activity for our Wiesbaden community! Great job!
