Induction into the AVID program is an esteemed distinction awarded only to the most determined students.  Students must meet academic and character requirements, have teacher recommendations, apply and interview to be eligible for membership. AVID members are expected to be active learners inside and outside of the classroom, while vigorously pursuing college as a goal.
