Holly-Eva Blood Drive
The fifth annual Holly-Eva Blood Drive will be held June 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clay Kaserne Fitness Center. The goal is to collect 108 pints of blood to put the Holly-Eva total at 500 pints donated.
Newcomer’s Community Brief
ACS hosts a special Newcomer’s Community Brief June 10 to introduce newcomers to USAG Wiesbaden organizations and agencies. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the entrance to the new PX at Hainerberg. Red Cross classes
A Blended First Aid/CPR/AED class will be held June 10 from 5:30-8 p.m.; Babysitting and Pediatric CPR/First Aid June 26-27; and New Volunteer Orientation June 18 from 10-11:30 a.m.
Community Information Exchange

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will be held June 22-26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Wiesbaden Middle School. Kids will experience God’s word in surprising and unforgettable ways. Each day, leaders will reinforce one simple Bible truth, which makes it easy for kids to remember and apply to real life. Volunteers must visit the office for child safety screening. Pet health certification season is here. Schedule an appointment for your pet’s health certificate within 10 days of flying. Sick call and wellness appointment availability will be reduced the months of June and July due to military personnel turnover and accommodation of health certificates. Concerts on the Lawn
USAG Wiesbaden and Wiesbaden Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation will host the U.S. Army Europe Band for a summer concert series, “Concerts on the Lawn,” at Kroesen Loop in the Newman Village Housing Area on Clay Kaserne. Community members should bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets. The event is free, and there will be food and drinks available for purchase. The first concert featuring the Concert Band is June 18 and starts at 6 p.m. All others begin at 7 p.m. July 9 is the Chorus; July 23 is Jazz; Aug. 20 is the Dixieland Band; and Aug. 27 is the Show Band.
Thrift Shop event
The Wiesbaden Community Spouses Club’s Community Appreciation/Back to School event at the Thrift Shop is July 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be community information, food and fun for everyone. Host nation orientation
All service members, civilians and family members are invited to attend one of the host nation orientations to pick up tips on the culture, language and ways to get around Wiesbaden. The orientations are held every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and start at the Wiesbaden Entertainment Center (upstairs). Bring euros for lunch.
