Sharp shooters work on hunting skills during Outdoor Rec course
Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation will host it’s next German Hunting Course from Aug. 2 to Oct. 22. Successful course completion gives the individual the right to purchase a German hunting license and to be knighted during the traditional Jaegerschlag ceremony.
Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation also features Recreational Shooting at the Wackernheim Range April 30 and May 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Ranges are 50, 100, 200 and 300 meters. Firearms are available for rent.
A German Fishing Course will be conducted by Outdoor Recreation’s Hunting, Fishing and Sport Shooting Program May 7, 8, 14 and 15.
Clients new to the shooting program must attend a safety briefing, held at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on range dates. Must be 16 years old to be allowed on the range. Children 16 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and may only shoot with weapons up to a caliber of .22lr
