Wiesbaden Middle School is looking for parents and community members to volunteer to work with students on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math processes for five to 10 minutes each during STEM Night, Nov. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the WMS gym. Red Ribbon Week
Wiesbaden Middle School is participating with schools across America in the 6th Annual National Red Ribbon Week photo contest. Vote for the WMS entry at redribbon.org from Nov. 3 to 17. The school with the most votes in each region will win an iPad and $1,000 to be used towards drug prevention programs at the school.
SAT and ACT prep courses
The eKnowledge Donation Project with U.S. Armed Forces is entering its 11th year assisting students and families. The project waives the $250 course price for the SAT or ACT Test Prep Programs. The student pays only the cost of delivering the program: DVD student fee of $23.70 for the cost of materials, support and shipping, Online Cloud student fee of $19.99 for student support and streaming. Testing dates for the 2016/17 school year are as follows: SAT dates are Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 21 and May 6. ACT dates are Dec. 10, April 8 and June 10.
