X-Box tourney
The Warrior Zone invites service members to compete in a Madden 18 X-Box Tournament from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 30. Entry is free. Call (0611) 143-9816 for details.


EFMP Bowling
The Exceptional Family Member Program sponsors a free bowling night at 5:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Wiesbaden Entertainment Center for Soldiers, civilians and retirees with Family members who have special needs. This is a good opportunity for children and parents to meet other community members as well as to connect with EFMP and support staff to discover resources that may be available. Skydiving with Outdoor Rec
Take a tandem jump Sept. 1 with skydiving experts in Bitburg. The cost is $299 to jump or $49 to tag along, but not jump. Outdoor Rec also offers a trip to the Bad Dürkheim Wine Fest on Sept. 8. Cost is $49. Call (0611) 143-548-9830 for details.


Wiesbaden’s Biggest Loser

Warrior Duathlon
Athletes will compete in a 20-mile bike ride sandwiched between two five-mile runs during the Warrior Duathlon beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Wiesbaden Sports, Fitness and Outdoor Recreation Center. The registration deadline is Sept. 14 at the fitness center.


Golf competitions
The Rheinblick Golf Course will host three showdowns on the greens in September – the Rheinblick Club Championship on Sept. 15 and 16, the Army Air Force Challenge Sept. 22 and 23 (first day at the Woodlawn Golf Course in Ramstein) and the Scramble of the Year on Sept. 29.
